The Second Day of the 888Live London Poker Festival Main Event was brought to an end, with the Ambassador of Team 888Poker Parker “Tonkaaaa” Talbot being the last surviving 888Poker Ambassador who has reached the final day of the event, bagging 453,000 in chips.
Talbot was under the heat literally all day long, but he still managed to become the last member of the 888Poker Team who reached the final day of the Main Event, and it was not a piece of cake for him to do that.
The Canadian player, who prefers playing in high-stakes poker tournaments as well as in sit-and-go (SNG) games online, has generated total live earnings of $344,294 in his career so far. His won his best live cash of $180,909 in August 2016, when he managed to rank at the seventh position of the EPT-13-ESPT-7-Barcelona €25,500 NLHE – Single Re-Entry 8 Handed.
The 888Live London Poker Festival Main Event kicked off a few days ago at the London’s Aspers Casino, offering three starting flights, with Day 1A attracting 71 entries, 20 of whom survived to the Second Day of the event. While Day 1A and 1B were relatively on the average in terms of players attracted, Day 1C of the Main Event attracted the largest players field on the 888Live Poker Festival London so far, with 242 entries.

The registration at the second day of the 888Live London Poker Festival Main Event closed as soon as the play began. This year’s edition of the tournament’s Main Event gathered a total of 427 entries, who on their turn accounted for the amount of £427,730, surpassing the announced guaranteed prize of £400,000.
Only 45 players are to get paid, receiving a cash portion of the prize pool, with the smallest prize being estimated to £2,365. The winner of the Main Event will receive for his efforts a monetary prize portion of £88,888 as well as the tournament’s trophy. It took more than an hour for the players to burst the money bubble, with the remaining players being guaranteed a money portion of the guaranteed prize pool.
The Final Day of the Main Event is to start at 2:00 PM on October 16th and will end with this year’s champion of the tournament to be crowned.
