As Casino Guardian reported earlier this month, there is a great variety of poker tournaments and events that are to be available on the territory of the UK and Ireland in September. The World Poker Tour (WPT) National partypoker Festival seems like one of the most exciting events that are to start in the upcoming days and should definitely not be missed by all poker lovers.
The WPT National Ireland Festival of Poker is to take place at the INEC Killarney and will kick off on September 15th, but poker fans should be aware there will be some online legs that are to start on September 11th. The Festival will be through on September 18th.
In order to join the online legs of the tournament, players are required to have a registered partypoker account.
Apart that the festival features a guaranteed prize of €250,000 which turns it into an Irish Grand Prix, the competition has become popular with the fact that it includes both online and live starting flights. The online flights are to be played at partypoker, while the live ones are to kick off at INEC Killarney. They are all €115 Buy-in ones. What is important to know is that every player is allowed to play all Day 1s in case they want to, but only their biggest stack is brought to the final day of the tournament.
The €1,100 Buy-in Main Event of the WPT National Ireland features a guaranteed €250,000 prize pool. It will see players start with a massive 30,000-chip stack.
There is also a €2,150 Buy-in High Roller event featuring a guaranteed prize estimated to €50,000. The €115 Buy-in Irish Cup event has a €20,000 guarantee, while the €115 Buy-in 6-Handed Kerry Cup Event offers a guaranteed prize of €5,000.
As mentioned above, the tournament’s schedule will first offer online flights which start on September 11th with the WPT National Ireland Online Day 1 and will end on September 14th. Both WPT National and the Irish Grand Prix are included in the online flights. The live flights start on September 15th.
The WPT National High Roller is to take place on September 17th and 18th, while the Irish Cup and the Kerry Cup 6-Max events will be held on September 18th, at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, respectively.
