As Casino Guardian reported only a few days ago, the WSOP Circuit came back to the Hoseshoe Casino in Baltimore. As the organisers of the tournament event have already revealed, there were a total of four starting flights for the tournament’s fourth event over the past couple of days.
A massive number of 657 entries were gathered to one players field over the starting flights of the $365 No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry event, who accounted for a prize pool estimated to $197,100. Now, there are only 79 players left who are to advance to Day 2, but the prize poll is to be shared by the final 72 of them.
At present times, it is Jeromy Bittan who is on top of the leaderboard, holding 306,500 in chips, followed by Denis Stanciu with 273,200 in chips. Edward Conrey is third at the current leaderboard, with 242,000 in chips. The fourth position is occupied by Cory Smith (239,000 in chips), followed by Frankie Flowers who is fifth, holding a total of 196,000.
This is not the first time when the current ranking leader Jeromy Bittan has taken part in a WSOP Circuit event. Bittan has even won a ring at the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore the very first time when the Circuit series stopped at the casino, and at this stage it is exactly him who has the best chances for winning. Second in line is Denis Stanciu who was the chip leader over Day 1D of the event, followed by Edward Conrey who was the chip leader over Day 1B.
Many professional poker players, including Dennis Phillips, Pete Lawson, Dennis Tsai, Juan Mendoza, etc. has come to the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore to try winning the event.
As we have reported earlier, the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe is scheduled to take place from April 27th to May 8th at the Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, one of the most modern and attractive casino facilities that have ever been associated with the WSOP Circuit series.
Event #5 of the series, $365 No-Limit Hold’em is one of the ring events that deserve to be taken into account by poker lovers. The two-day event offers a single re-entry option and a 10,000 starting stack in chips. Also late registration is available until the beginning of Level 9.
Until now, three of the WSOP Circuit Horseshoe Baltimore events came to an end. The $365 Monster Stack event was won by Nick Verderamo on April 28th. Then, again on April 28th, Dennis Tasi was crowned as a winner of the $365 No-Limit Hold’em, while John Richards emerged victorious from the $365 Pot-Limit Omaha event on April 30th.
Without any doubt, it is the Main Event of the WSOP Circuit series that would be among the most attractive ones in the Horseshoe stop. The $1,675 buy-in event is scheduled for May 5th and 6th.
