After completing the first 15 stops of its 2016/2017 season’s schedule, the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP Circuit) is heading to the next one, which is to be in Atlantic City, a long-standing stop of the series. With only 7 destinations left until the end of the Circuit series, and the sixteenth stop on the schedule to be soon ending, the seventeenth stop of the WSOP Circuit is to be held at Harrah’s Atlantic Casino.
A great variety of poker events will be included in the schedule, with the first one of them – the $365 Buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry – set to kick off at 12:00 PM on March 9th. The event is a two-day tournament. March 10th will see one of the most popular events at the WSOP Circuit ever – another No-Limit Hold’em Re-Entry with a buy-in estimated to $365 – kick off with the first one of a total of three starting flights.
As revealed at the official website of the WSOP, the organisers have scheduled 12 gold ring events total, with the $1,675 Buy-in Main Event standing out. Flight A of the Circuit seventeenth stop’s Main Event is to start on March 17th. Last year, the Main Event of the tournament’s stop that took palce at Harrah’s Atlantic City was won by Robert Kuhn, who was granted with his first WSOP Circuit gold ring as well as a massive first-place prize amounting to $122,098 as he managed to outlast a total players field of 370 participants.
This year’s event, as always, will be granted with a seat to the 2017 edition of the Global Casino Championship, along with the Casino Champion, with the latter being the player who wins the most points at a certain Circuit stop. Players at the events earn their points depending on the place they finish in a tournament, so each of them is competing for the Casino Champion position. Both of them will be given the opportunity to compete for a prize pool of no less than $1 million and a gold bracelet.
There is a great variety of tournament events available, offering buy-ins of $135, $350, $365, $580 and $1,675. Apart from the most traditional events, there will be a Ladies Event and a Seniors Event, both of which feature affordable buy-ins.
