It seems that no one can really tell what is happening with Genesis Affiliates Programme. The company has been keeping its silence lately but an increasing number of its partners are becoming more and more vocal about an ongoing issue with their due payments, after not receiving them in a few months.
The problem with the affiliate programme’s payments has put a question mark over the company’s future which seems more and more uncertain after many of the operator’s partners have shared their concerns about the lack of payments over the last few months. They have claimed that the company is not providing them with any information about what is going on with the payments or when they are expected to get back to normal, saying that Genesis Affiliates is putting years of trustful affiliate partnership at stake.
What makes the issue even stranger, and the consequences of the problem harder to predict is the fact that the Genesis Affiliates Programme has been running perfectly for years and its partnership with affiliates worldwide seemed pretty much cloudless. Unfortunately, partners of the company have complained about erratic and inconsistent payments since the beginning of 2022, with the operator no longer complying with the usual payment dates that were around the middle of the month following the earnings.
Affiliate Partners of Genesis Complain about Payment Delays in 2022
Last month, a user of the Casinomeister forum, called “dunover”, reported some serious issues with the due payments from the aforementioned affiliate programme of Genesis. The company’s partner shared that the payment issues started earlier this year, with the payments being delayed by about 2 weeks from what was once normal. Eventually, the delay got even bigger, with the payments being made within 7 to 10 days into the following month.
It was not only “dunover” who experienced such issues. Many other partners of the Genesis Affiliates Programme reported they have been facing the same problem, with some of them expecting to receive their payments for June and July.
After contacting the gambling operator, the latter confirmed there were some delays with the payments but Genesis’ team was working on getting everything released as soon as possible. However, that answer was not good enough for their affiliates as they wanted more clarity on the issue and wanted to learn when things would be back to normal. The lack of clarity and official information regarding the delayed payments is found extremely concerning by affiliates that say something is not right at Genesis Affiliates.
Some users of the Casinomeister and Affiliate Guard Dog forums have also shared some concerns about whether the company’s casino could start delaying players’ payments, too, although the business models leading to the payments deferred. So far, there has not been such a delay, but “dunover” highlighted the fact that it is the casino that hands the money over to the affiliate programme, so in case of a problem the affiliates would be the last ones to receive their payments. The Casinomeister forum user also reminded that the company had its UK operating licence suspended for a while and faced a monetary penalty and noted that the ongoing delay in payments might have been a result of these issues.
Whatever the problem is, the lack of clarity for its affiliate partners remains, especially considering the fact that Genesis has not been exactly communicative on the issue.
Many Genesis Affiliates Remove Links Due to Delayed Aff Programme Payments
Although some of the gambling company’s affiliate partners remain hopeful that Genesis Affiliates will start talking and provide some answers to the questions that have lately been piling up, an increasing number of them have already taken measures as a result of the due payment delays.
Due to the fact that the affiliate payment delays have occurred all through 2022, the gambling company’s partners are less inclined to consider the problem simply a temporary issue. That is why most of the affiliates who have shared their concerns in the Casinomeister and Affiliate Guard Dog forums said they have already removed links to Genesis because they are unwilling to send the online gambling operator traffic when they refuse to pay out their commissions.
Some of the company’s partners have even suspected that Genesis has started to take funds from their affiliates in order to cover their expenses, which, if true, would be another sign of some serious issues in Genesis’ business.
Some of the gambling operator’s partners through the Genesis Affiliates Programme have raised red flags that some serious changes might be happening. An Affiliate Guard Dog forum user, called “Lucy CBC” shared that their account manager had left, which only enhanced the affiliate’s feeling that some very serious issues are going on with the gambling operator’s business.
As a result, many affiliates that have still not received their payments have taken the decision to remove all Genesis casinos from their listings until they finally see the due payments sorted out. They have also suggested to other affiliates to do the same and be careful with promoting the Genesis gambling brands until the company makes sure their payments are carried out on time, if that ever happens again.
