PokerStars’ European Poker Tour (EPT) is heading to Prague for its last stop in its 2016 route. The Czech Republich, and more specifically, its capital city has been known as one of the most interesting stops on the way of the EPT, providing plenty of fun and epic events. Now it seems that the tournament’s organisers intend to make the EPT Season 13 no different, especially considering the fact that the Prague stop is to put an end to one of the most loved tours in the history of poker.
Only three days are left until the European Poker Tour is hosted at the Hilton Prague Hotel in the period from December 8th to December 19th, 2016. This is expected to be the largest EPT ever, as it is to join forces with Eureka Poker Tour to feature even greater variety of formats and tournaments.
The PokerStars’ Director of Live Events Edgar Stuchly commented on the upcoming event, saying that the tournament’s stop in Prague always attracted a massive player field. According to him, this year a record number of tournaments was to be added to the EPT’s schedule, which is to make the event one of the biggest and best live events held by the Series.
Players who want to participate in any tournament offered in the EPT schedule are required to sign up for a PSLive account. As mentioned above, this year’s edition of EPT Prague will feature a massive number of tournaments and different formats.
The EPT is to kick off on December 8th with a preliminary event – a No Limit Hold’em Event featuring a buy-in of €10,300. The event is to end on December 10th. This, however, is not the only event that is to start on Thursday. The PokerStars Cup, featuring a €330 buy-in is to kick off on December 8th and will end four days later, on December 12th.
Then, on December 9th, poker lovers will see the Eureka Main Event kick off. The event offers a buy-in of €1,100 and will end on December 13th. A number of high-roller events will also be provided to all individuals who decide to take part in 2016 EPT Prague. Between December 11th and 13th, a €50,000 Super High Roller event will take place, followed by a two-day Eureka High Roller event, offering a buy-in of €2,200. The last high-roller event in the EPT Prague schedule is the €10,300 EPT High Roller event that is to take place from December 17th to 19th.
The EPT Main Event features a buy-in of €5,300. It is scheduled to start on December 13th and will end on December 19th. The European Poker Tour Prague will also offer a one-day No Limit Hold’em Event on December 14th. It is to be entered in return to a €25,500 buy-in.
