FSB Technology Ltd, one of the leading industry platform providers up to date, has joined forces with the IT solutions company Rackspace. The partnership has been initiated in order for the company to implement its own private cloud service right before the new football season.
The co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of FSB Dave McDowell commented on the partnership between the two companies, explaining that their aim had always been offering their customers the opportunity to run the most efficient operations by using modern technology. Mr. McDowell also said that FSB would be able to considerably reduce the initial capital investment in such dedicated cloud platform solutions.
He also shared his surety that creating the cloud service platform would be greatly beneficial not only for the already existing customers of FSB, but also for those who are yet to come.
Over the years, the UK platform providing company, which was found in 2007 and has more than a decade of experience in the business, has been offering a variety of software solutions to bigger companies who would like to set control on their personal data feeds as well as on their trading teams.
After the implementation of the new technology, the suppliers are expected to be offered with the chance to launch their new customers in their own private and protected environment. The most typical customers for the cloud service would be companies that need a stable and dedicated platform that would help them serve on large number of transactions. Customer who would eventually be interested in investing in such a platform could also be companies who would be focused on providing specialist sports with bespoke pricing.
That is not all. The private cloud service that FSB plans to implement at the time of its partnership with Rackspace would offer the UK-based provider the chance to add scale only shortly before some flagship events like the Cheltenham Festival or the Grand National Festival happen, as well as over sports events that are broadcast on a regular basis every week such as big football matches.
The implementation of the new service is also considered as beneficial for FSB Technology, as the UK company would be given a stronger operational basis thanks to the improved peak-traffic bandwidth. In addition, the operating system support and the hardware monitoring that is to be ensured all day long. Any faulty hardware element would be replaced by experienced engineers directly on site within minutes.
Another great advantage of the cloud service that is to be offered by FSB Technology is the fact that the company would be able to identify each piece of equipment that is used within the service and respectively, report the data to the regulatory watchdog – the UK Gambling Commission. This is not possible in public cloud services at this stage. This means that FSB’s private cloud service would allow the company deliver high-quality operational efficiency and comply with the regulatory requirements at the same time.
