The largest casino, betting and gaming software developer Playtech revealed it has appointed Dr. Armin Sageder as a Chief Executive Officer of its BGT Sports division. As a result of the appointment, Dr. Sageder, who is known for the founder of the company’s BGT brand, is to become responsible for the BGT Sports’ businesses of Playtech. He will also bear responsibility for the customer relations of the team and will report to Playtech’s Chief Executive Officer Mor Weizer.
The new boss of the BGT Sports division Dr. Armin Sageder commented on his appointment on top of the unit, saying he was very excited about the job and the opportunities it provided. He explained that the division would be given the chance to create a powerhouse from which the company’s customers would be able to draw benefit due to the extensive knowledge and know-how of the brand.
According to Dr. Sageder, the BGT Sports unit would continue to make investments in the great variety of platforms, products and services provided by the brand. He explained that the division’s major goal was to offer its customers maximum expertise, relevant tools, and capabilities.
The newly-formed unit is to bring together a number of Playtech Sports brands, including BGT, Unilogic, Geneity and Mobenga. In addition, it will include the gaming solutions developer’s internal Sports Trading team, as well as a workforce of over 600 employees located in London, Malmö, Bremen, Vienna, Sofia and Nicosia.
The BGT Sports division of Playtech is aimed to creating a fully-integrated, qualitative sports betting technology solution by bringing together certain brands of the Isle of Man-based gaming software supplier in order to meet all customers needs and requirements.
The newly-formed unit is aimed at providing a one-stop-shop betting service that would be based on the omni-channel platform provided by Playtech. Customers will be able to reach a great betting experience across a great variety of channels and devices, including over the Internet, on portable devices, over-the-counter, as well as by using Self-Service Betting Terminals (SSBTs). In addition, the sports betting services ad solutions of the BGT Sports division are planned to be delivered to both registered and anonymous customers of the land-based and online channels.
The Chief Executive Officer of Playtech Mor Weizer also commented on the new appointment, sharing he was very glad with the fact that Dr. Sageder was named at the position. He explained that the gaming software developer’s BGT Sports division would offer the best platforms and products to the leading sports betting operators. He also shared that the omni-channel solutions of the company would also be available to customers.
