Online gambling operator MansionBet has been confirmed as the official UK betting partner of Newcastle United F.C. The two-year partnership was announced by the football club of Newcastle upon Tyne on Monday and it will allow MansionBet to operate the betting terminals across St. James’ Park.
The professional football club, which plays in the Premier League, has just revealed its new sleeve sponsor, namely the cryptocurrency platform StormGain. Now, it is partnering up with the rapidly growing Internet-based gambling and betting operator MansionBet. The agreement, which was facilitated by SEM Global, would now see the operator managing the betting terminals at the St James’ Park stadium.
As part of the two-year deal, MansionBet would also offer exclusive deals and special prices to Magpies fans aged 18 and older. There will also be ticket giveaways available on its online platform, as well as various other surprises for supporters of the club. Fans will also be given the chance to take part in various competitions and win exclusive prizes such as a meet-and-greet with football stars.
The deal is expected to strengthen MansionBet’s presence in Ireland and the UK, where it is licensed to offer its online betting and gaming services. The Gibraltar-based operator confirmed in May that it had secured an Irish license not only for the sportsbook but also for its networked gaming platforms, namely MansionCasino, Casino.com, and Slots Heaven. In a press release, Karel Manasco, CEO of the Mansion Group, said that both the Newcastle United F.C. and its fans would benefit greatly from the agreement between the two companies.
Not the First Sponsorship for the Bookmaker
This is not the first partnership with a professional sports club for the online sportsbook and casino operator. It has signed sponsorship deals with multiple Premier League teams, including Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester City, Crystal Palace, and AFC Bournemouth. Its current collaboration with AFC Bournemouth was fourth consecutive deal between the club and the gambling operator and is covering the 2018/2019 season. The bookmaker has actually supported the Cherries since their first season in the Premier League, 2015/2016.
