The World Series of Poker (WSOP) Europe has signed a multi-year agreement with King’s Casino Rozvadov in the Czech Republic. Under the terms of the deal, various poker events that are to be organised under the WSOP brand will be hosted in the above-mentioned casino over the next several years.
Under the terms of the agreement, the WSOP brand will be engaged in holding several events at the casino. The World Series of Poker is to organise a minimum of 10 WSOP Europe gold bracelet events at King’s Casino Rozvadov in 2017 and 2019, featuring guaranteed prize pools of €5,000,000. In addition, two Circuit Events per year are to take place at the casino in the spring and the autumn of 2018 and 2020, as well as one Circuit event per year in the spring of 2017, 2019 and 2021.
The Executive Director of the World Series of Poker Ty Stewart commented on the deal, saying that he had been really thrilled with the idea to create a massive poker destination in Central Europe. He expressed his utter surety that things are only going to get bigger for both WSOP and the King’s Casino Rozvadov.
Mr. Stewart described the casino as a destination that provided especially suitable environment for large festivals and tournament like the ones organised by the WSOP brand.
In 2015, a WSOP Circuit event was hosted at King’s Casino Rozvadov for the first time. This week, there is another Circuit event held at the casino, and it seems that the World Series of Poker has found a new place to turn into home. On the other hand, the multi-year deal comes at a time when the King’s Casino Rozvadov has been following its strategy to become the most popular tournament poker room on the territory of Europe.
The place has turned into the largest poker room in Europe thanks to the fact that thousands of players from all over Europe come to King’s Casino Rozvadov which offers them the chance to experience high-quality poker experience. Up to date, over 150 poker tables are available at the casino, and there is a great variety of cash games and poker tournaments that are available throughout the entire day.
In addition, the casino has been recently focused on massive expansion, with a new hotel tower construction plans and more poker tables to be added. The new additions and expansions are planned to be finalised before the beginning of the WSOP Europe tournament in the fall of 2017.
The deal was confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer of King’s Casino Rozvadov Leon Tsoukernik, who revealed that the casino’s team was grateful for the honour of hosting such a prestigious series of poker festivals and tournaments.
