Arena Racing Company (ARC) has announced UK betting operator Betway as an official sponsor of three categories of the All-Weather Championship. As revealed in the ARC’s statement, the categories that are to see Betway as a legitimate betting sponsor are the Sprint, the Middle Distance and the Marathon.
This is not the first sponsorship agreement inked by Betway lately. Only yesterday, the company has been officially revealed as an Authorised Betting Partner by BHA. The UK-based gaming operator is also sponsor of the Cheltenham Festival, the Chester Cup, the Yorkshire Cup and the Great Voltigeur Stakes. In addition, Betway is also sponsor of Betway Lincoln at Doncaster Racecourse, which has helped it get strongly associated with flat racing.
The Marketing Director of Betway Anthony Werkman commented on the partnership agreement. He said that the All-Weather Championships had been very successful since their introduction four years ago and explained that the entire team of Betway had been extremely happy with the fact the company became a sponsor of three major categories.
Mr. Werkman reiterated the company’s commitment to British Racing after citing the deal Betway signed to become an Authorised Betting Partner. He also said that the ARC partnership and more specifically the three categories that would be sponsored were a great addition to the already existing flat sponsorships of the company.
The multi-year sponsorship agreement would make Betway an Authorised Betting Partner alongside Gibraltar-based online casino operator 32Red. The company will be included as a category sponsor for the upcoming All-Weather Championships.
The 2016/2017 season will see All-Weather Championships run in the period from October 27th 2016 to April 14th 2017. The Finals Day of the Championship is to take place at the Lingfield Park and is to be aired live on ITV4 and At the Races. A total of six championship categories will be featured – Three Year Old, Fillies & Mares, Mile, Sprint, Marathon and Betway Easter Classic Middle Distance.
The ARC Group Director of Partnerships David Leyden Dunbar expressed his satisfaction with Betway signing as category sponsor of the All-Weather Championships. He revealed that the relationship between Betway and ARC had been successful so far, but he was excited to have the partnership extended to the All-Weather Championships.
Mr. Dunbar also shared that Betway understood the correlation between the racing and betting industries and had demonstrated its determination to back racing with sponsorship agreements.
