Only a couple of weeks after he won the eighth event of the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) for $250,391, Bart Lybaert won another live poker event. This time the player took down 2019 Aussie Millions AU$1,150 Six Max event scooping a cash prize of AU$124,355.
Lybaert outlasted a total entry field of 542 players to win what turned out to be one of the biggest victories in his career as a poker player so far. The first-place prize was not large enough to beat his best live cash of $432,856 which he generated at the time he occupied the third place at PokerStars National Championship Barcelona €1,100 NLHE event. Still, it boosted Lybaert’s all-time live earnings to about $2.8 million.

Lybaert emerged victorious in a somewhat come-from-behind victory after a heads-up play with Travis Endersby, who on the other hand, also made a great performance by doubling up three times at the final table at which he started at the bottom of the pack.
This year’s Aussie Millions Championship kicked off on January 15th. The tournament is hosted at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, with the last event of the series scheduled for February 4th. The five-day Main Event is to be held from January 28th to February 5th, with three starting flights and buy-in of AU$10,000.

Lybaert Faces Tough Opposition from Ednersby
The final table of six was formed after the elimination of Ari Ghezelbash. As mentioned above, at that time Travis Endersby had the shortest chip stack but he later managed to double up three times and reach to the heads-up action.
The elimination of Michel Bouskila at the sixth place buoyed Lybaert into the chip lead, with only five players left. Despite the fact that Tou reshuffled the ranking by sending Dhingra home, Lybaert still managed to get the lead back at the time when only four were left to play.

The four-way game unfolded quickly, with Endersby and Lybaert on top of the chip counts. This, however, changed after Dingxiang got eliminated at the third position shortly after the break, providing Endersby with a 3:1 chip lead at the beginning of the heads-up play. Lybaert, however, was not ready to give up from the victory. He managed to pull himself together and counted on a more aggressive style of play, which, eventually, brought him the victory.
