Jonathan Kalmar emerged victorious from the 2016 edition of the Grand Prix Poker Tour in Nottingham that took place at the Dusk Till Dawn casino venue, winning the champion’s trophy as well as a cash prize of £30,000.
Only the top 135 players in the Grand Prix Poker Tour Nottingham got cash prizes. In addition, the top 50 participants were granted with a flexible ticket for the events that are yet to be held at the Dusk Till Dawn casino venue. The ticket is worth £550.
As a matter of fact, Jonathan Kalmar is known as one of the regular players at the Disk Till Dawn casino and takes part in various cash games and tournaments on a regular basis. He also has made it to some considerable results in his career, but his largest tournament cash amounts to $1,255,069 which he got for ranking fifth in the 2007 edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event. A large number of popular poker players took part in the GPPT Nottingham and finished within the top 50 places. Some of them were Guy Taylor, James Clarke, Michael Kossov, Sebastian Pawlak, Dominic Kay, etc.
With Johnatan Kalmar emerging as victor in the tournament, the runner-up position was occupied by Warren Jones who was granted with a consolation prize of £18,000. Jav Javed took the third place, winning a cash portion of £12,000.
The fourth position was occupied by Dan Lowe, followed by Florian Duta. Cat Winch ranked sixth and took home a prize of £5,750. The seventh position was taken by Tony Vu, while Krystiyan Yordanov ranked eighth. The final, ninth position was occupied by Bogdan Serea, who got a cash portion of £3,000.
