Another WSOP Circuit gold ring winner has emerged mere hours ago. American Justin Adkins took down the fourth event in the 2018/19 WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant schedule, the $250 NLHE Multi-Flight, and took home the lion’s share of the $215,400 prize pool and his first-ever gold ring.
Adkins conquered the title by emerging on top of the 1,077 entry list and seized a cash portion amounting to $39,853. The money prize is far bigger than the American poker player’s so-far best live cash of $3,148 and helped Adkins boost his all-time live winnings to over $50,000.

The victory for the American came after he faced “a pretty rough” 2018 in the tournament scene, as explained by himself. The $250 No-Limit Hold’em Multi-Flight was the first live poker event for Adkins in 2019. The two-day competition saw Adkins smoothly progressing to Day 2, after which he proceeded to the unofficial final table third in chips, with 1,200,000 in chips. Noah Nodine led the pack, with a chip stack of 3,050,000, followed by Rodney Spriggs, with 2,190,000 in chips.
After several hours of play, Adkins eventually found himself heads-up against the leader at the unofficial final table Noah Nodine. A few hands later, Adkins was crowned as the event’s winner, generating his fourth, and by far largest cash prize in his career.
With Justin Adkins winning the 2018/19 WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant $250 NLHE Multi-Flight event, scooping a prize pool portion of $39,853 and his first gold ring, Noah Nodine remained on the runner-up position, taking home $24,637 in prize money. The third place was occupied by Joshua Cole, who received $18,637 for his efforts.
Rodney Spriggs remained fourth, followed by Sandeep Vasudevan. The sixth position was taken by Johnathon Rabideau, while Jason Royman remained seventh. Kevin Beers got eighth.
Darin Utley Takes Down Event #3
The third event in the WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant stop was also brought to an end, with Darin Utley bagging his first gold ring. The 48-year-old player managed to emerge victorious from a 766 entry field that generated a total prize pool of $252,780 for the $400 NLHE Multi-Flight event.
The tournament offered two starting flights and was held as a two-day event, with Utley registering for the first flight. He managed to survive until the unofficial final table was formed, being at the bottom of the pack at the time. This soon changed, as the player managed to gain momentum as the game progressed.
The victory brought Utley a massive prize pool portion estimated to $50,557, and as mentioned above, his first-ever WSOP Circuit Gold ring.
The WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant schedule continues with two other events, which have already seen the end of Day 1 – $400 NLHE Double Stack and $400 Big O.
