GVC Holding’s online poker card room partypoker appointed Jackie Glazier as an ambassador of the brand thanks to a two-year contract signed between the parties. The latest contract signed by partypoker takes the number of ambassadors of the poker website to seven now, including Tony Dunst, Mike Sexton, Patrick Leonard, Roberto Romanello and Natalia Breviglieri. She will represent the brand along with the other six ambassadors in live and online poker events.
This is not the first time when Jackie Glazier becomes a poker ambassador. Before inking her contract with partypoker, she has been an official representative of two other brands – Ivey Poker and 888poker.
Currently, Jackie Glazier is considered as one of the most popular poker players who originate from Australia. She has generated live tournament winnings estimated to $1.3 million.
Only a year after starting her professional poker player career in 2011, Glazier emerged victorious from the A$1,100 Buy-in Melbourne Poker Championship, taking home a prize of $95,000. Also, in 2012 she occupied the second position in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) $3,000 Buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event, winning a total of $458,996 which remains her largest prize generated in a live poker tournament up to date.
The Australian player also managed to win the WSOP €1,100 Buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Ladies Event in Berlin in 2013, which brought her not only a cash prize of €21,850, but also a gold WSOP bracelet.
In addition, Glazier took part in the Main Event of the 2013 edition of the WSOP and ranked 31st, winning a total of $229,281 for that. After her deep run in the 2013 WSOP Main Event, she signed her contract with 888poker, and three years later became a free agent.
Jackie Glazier confirmed of the contract with partypoker and shared she was really proud to join the brand’s team of ambassadors. She added that the appointment was a great opportunity for poker lovers on the territory of Australia and its surrounding territories.
According to Glazier, partypoker brand had made massive progress over the last few months, so she would be glad to join them and help them set foot at the Australian gambling market and expand there. She also said that as partypoker ambassador she intends to work to increase the popularity of the poker in Australia.
