Summer is already here, with various entertainment options, including a great variety of live poker options. This July, the UK is to once again become home to a number of interesting live poker events and tournaments, offering a lot of excitement and of course, the chance of winning some cash.
A number of casino venues across the country will host different events, offering various prize pools and gaming formats, in order to match players’ different bankrolls, skills and knowledge of the game.
Grosvenor 25/25 Series
The UK is set to host a couple of events from the Grosvenor 25/25 Series. First, the end of June and the beginning of July 2018 will see one £225 No Limit Hold’em event be held in Manchester’s Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road. The two-day event already started yesterday, on June 28th, and it to end on July 1st. A few starting flights are available, with the very first one having been held online at the website of Grosvenor Poker. The standard guaranteed prize pool of £25,000 is also to be offered.
The other NLHE event from the series is to be hosted at the Grosvenor Casino Merchant City in Glasgow. It is to begin with an online starting flight on the brand’s poker website and then followed by three more starting flights and a second play day in the period from July 12th to 15th.
Grosvenor UK Poker Tour
The fifth leg of this year’s Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is to start at the very beginning of July at the London’s iconic Poker Room. Leg 5 of the series is to kick off on July 1st, with the last events set to be held on July 8th.
A number of events will be offered for players to join, with a Mini Main event also available. The Main Event is undoubtedly the most-awaited event in the series, with a £560 buy-in and a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool offered.
Genting Poker Series Mini
2018 Genting Poker Series Mini is to see its leg 11 start on July 12th at the Genting Casino Luton. One Main Event is to be available for everyone who would like to join, with three starting flights being offered, as well as a guaranteed prize pool worth £35,000.
Other Live Poker Events in the UK in July
888 Season 2018 will host a traditional 888 London Classic event between June 28th and July 1st at the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford. One of the most iconic poker rooms in London already become home to the £440 event which offers a guaranteed prize pool amounting to £120,000. The 888 London Classic event is being held in two play days, with four starting flights and late registration option for 8 levels available.
Another popular casino facility – the Alea Glasgow Casino – is to host one No Limit Hold’em event from the Unibet UK Poker Tour 2018. The event which could be joined for a buy-in and offers a £40,000 guaranteed prize pool is to be held from June 29th to July 1st.
This July, another live poker event is to be held in one of the most popular casino venues in the capital of the UK. The Poker Room, once known as The Vic, is set to become home to The London Deepstack event from July 19th to 22nd. The event, which is to be held in two gaming days, will offer three starting flights.
Last but not least, the Dusk Till Dawn casino in Nottingham is to host the Dusk Till Dawn 8-Max Series from July 19th to 22nd. A number of events offering a variety of buy-ins and guaranteed prizes will be available, with the 8-Max Main Event offering a massive £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.
