Earlier this week, the online gambling content provider Skywind Group revealed that it is to expand its presence in the UK as it finalised the takeover of award-winning tech company Intouch Games Group.
Established by a number of industry veterans back in 2012, Skywind Group is currently known for offering content and high-performance online gambling solutions to major regulated markets on a global scale, including Asia, Europe and Latin America. The company offers a vast variety of products and features, including slot games, live dealer games, sports and engagement tools, etc.
The completion of its acquisition of Intouch Games would provide Skywing Group with the chance to expand its footprint on the territory of the UK, which is currently one of the biggest markets in Europe.
For the time being, over 200 slots, a live casino and a variety of player engagement tools are being offered on the company’s platform. The recently announced acquisition deal is expected to help Skywind expand its portfolio further by the addition of popular online slot and live casino games.
On the other hand, Intouch Games already has a long-time presence in the sector. The company was established in 2001 and has managed to become an industry leader through its award-winning technology, including the provision of unique game content for its users. The takeover of the company would significantly boost Skywind Group’s workforce, with over 500 employees of Intouch Games, who are currently based in the UK, Cyprus, Romania, Vietnam and Taiwan, set to become part of Skywind.
Skywind Group Aims at Expanding Presence across Regulated Gambling Markets Worldwide
Currently, more than 600 experienced and dedicated professionals work for Skywind Group from offices all around the world – in the UK, Malta, Cyprus, Romania, Ukraine, the Phillippines and Australia.
Since the company was founded in 2012, it managed to become one of the leaders in the international B2B (business-to-business) solution provider in the online gambling sector. Skywing Group currently holds 7 operating licences and is present in 19 regulated markets worldwide, with a reported customer base of over 250 people. The company has been working in partnership with more than 1,000 operators across the globe.
As mentioned above, for some time now, Skywind Group has been aimed at expanding its presence beyond North America, in various regulated markets in Europe. The gambling content provider has also been willing to add more products to its portfolio that will help it become part of a wider strategy to introduce the UK customers to its own available content. At the beginning of May 2022, the company revealed that it successfully rolled out its services in Portugal, which gave it the chance to officially step into one of the largest and fastest-growing regulated markets in Europe.
Only a month before that, in April, Skywind Group announced the release of Teller of Tales, a new offering of online slot games that feature so-called growing multipliers.
