PointsBet has become the latest sports betting company to shake hands on a substantial deal with a key golf entity and hospitality management company. The Australian gambling operator has recently unveiled a partnership deal with the biggest golf operator in the world, Troon.
This is the first time PointsBet is becoming an official and exclusive sports betting partner for the management company.
As a result of the deal, the signage of the Australian sports betting operator will be featured across the social media accounts of Troon, including the dedicated app of the entity. Troon currently operates various golf facilities and will now feature the PointsBet brand in visible places so that the sports betting operator is given the chance to reach new audiences and enhance its presence with the already existing golf fans.
On the other hand, Troon intends to use the expertise of PointsBet to offer odds integrations, as well as a variety of collaborations associated with the game of golf at locations throughout the country. Furthermore, the VIP customers of the Australian sportsbook operator will be provided with a special hospitality experience as part of the loyalty program available at the operator.
As revealed by PointsBet, the company is also making plans to host a golf tournament under the name PointsBet Cup as part of the sports betting operator’s efforts to strengthen its partnership with Troon.
PointsBet Has Been Seeking to Expand Its Presence in Golf
For quite a long time PointsBet has been having aspirations to expand its presence in golf, and the partnership agreement with Troon is definitely a step in this direction. The collaboration provides will provide Points bet with the opportunity to enhance its relationship with golfers and improve their experience. The sportsbook brand will also become more accessible to golf fans.
Troon has also welcomed the partnership with enthusiasm. Scott Van Newkirk, the entity’s chief development officer, said that the collaboration with the Australian sports betting company would help it provide innovative experiences to its consumers, which is something that would be highly appreciated by Troon fans. Mr Van Newkirk further shared that everyone at his company was excited to see the partnership with PointsBet grow at a time when gaming opportunities are being expanded across the country.
Lately, PointsBet has been working to enhance its presence in the US, with the company building up its portfolio in the country. For the time being, the Australian sportsbook operator has its products offered across the states of New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, Virginia, West Virginia, Iowa, and Indiana. PointsBet also hopes to integrate the zero suspension rate that it managed to pull of live markets across the country on time for the upcoming National Football League (NFL) season.
Only about a week ago, PointsBet also received an official permit to operate casino and sports betting services in the state of Pennsylvania. The newly-granted licence expanded the company’s presence in another US state, while the Australian sportsbook operator has previously entered into a partnership agreement with the University of Maryland, too.
