Over the last few months, one of the largest poker brands in the world – partypoker – has managed to add a number of poker professionals to its ambassadors list.
For some time now, the global poker brand has been looking to make new additions to its partypoker Team in order to expand its presence worldwide. The new sponsorship deals would be beneficial for the brand to become more popular as it would boost its popularity among poker players in various regions and attract more players to the fascinating world of poker.
Here are some of the latest additions of poker professionals to partypoker ambassadors:
Fedor Holz
Only a few days ago, on September 4th, the global poker brand officially announced that the German poker pro Fedor Holz has joined its Ambassadors team.
Despite his young age, Fedor Holz has recently become one of the most popular poker players on a global scale, ranking world number 1 online in both 2014 and 2015. The player, who has occupied the first position in the Hendon Mob’s German all-time money list, is to wear the partypoker patch in various poker formats, including the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS and the upcoming Online High Roller Series.
As reminded by partypoker Managing Director Tom Waters, the phenomenal success of the German on the global poker area over the last few years has made him one of the most-respected players. Now, the global poker brand has added him to its Ambassadors team as part of its strategy to get closer to poker players, including recreational ones, and get better perspective that would help it continue making improvements.
Up to date, Holz has managed to generate total live winnings of more than $23 million. His best live cash, estimated to $4,081,775, was generated at the time he won the 2016 WSOP $111,111 NLHE High Roller for One Drop.
Richard Dubini
In the middle of July, partypoker announced another sponsorship deal, revealing that the professional poker player Richard Dubini had become the then-latest addition to Team partypoker.
The player, who is ranked within the top 10 in the all-time money list of Hendon Mob for Argentina, currently has more than $1.5 million in overall live winnings, with his best live cash amounting to $535,000. He generated his largest live winning by ranking 12th at the 2017 WSOP $10,000 NLHE Main Event Championship.
As a regular player in the Latin American live circuit, Richard Dubini is to participate in different poker tournaments alongside another partypoker ambassador – Joao Simao – and help the brand become more popular among both live and online poker players. Dubini’s addition to partypoker Team is expected to help the brand boost its popularity in the Latin American market.
Kristen Bicknell
June 2017 brought another sponsorship deal for partypoker, this time with the professional poker player Kristen Bicknell. Despite Bicknell is known primarily for her preference to online poker tournaments, she is also a frequent entry in the live circuit, including in the partypoker Million North America which has recently taken place at Playground Poker Club.
Kristen Bicknell might not have played regularly in live poker tournaments over the last few years, but she is a two WSCOP bracelet owner, having won one in the 2013 WSOP $1,000 NLHE Ladies Championships and another in the 2016 WSOP $1,500 NLHE Bounty. Her total live earnings so far amount to $925,674, with a best live cash of $290,768 generated at the time when Bicknell won her second WSOP bracelet.
The addition of Kristen Bicknell to the partypoker Team came at a moment when the brand has been looking to add a Canadian poker professional to its ambassadors in order to boost its popularity on the Canadian market, where Bicknell has been quite popular.
Marcel Luske
The beginning of June has seen another sponsorship deal of partypoker, after the global poker brand managed to add the professional poker player Marcel Luske to its ambassadors list.
Luske, who is also popular under the nickname “The Flying Dutchman” joined the partypoker Team right before he took part at this year’s WSOP edition and is to continue entering some of the biggest partypoker online tournaments as an official representative of the brand.
The addition of Marcel Luske to the ambassadors of partypoker has been a great step for the brand, as it is to certainly boost its popularity in the Dutch poker market. “The Flying Dutchman” is currently on top of the Hendon Mob all-time money list for the Netherlands. His all-time live earnings amount to $4,730,052 so far, with his largest live cash of $373,000 generated at the time he ranked 10th in the 2004 WSOP $10,000 World Championship Event.
Bruno Gagliasso
As reported by Casino Guardian in May, the much-loved Brazilian actor Bruno Gagliasso joined Team partypoker after signing a sponsorship contract with the brand. In his new role of partypoker ambassador, Gagliasso joined his fellow countryman Joao Simao to play in various live poker events in Latin America.
The 35-year old actor is extremely popular not only in Brazil, but across Latin America as a whole. His addition to partypoker Team would definitely be beneficial for the brand, helping the latter to reach more poker fans in the region.
Dzmitry Urbanovich
Several months ago, one of the most-respected and feared tournament poker players – Dzmitry Urbanovich – also joined partypoker Team as a sponsored professional.
Despite he was more of a low-stake player at the beginning of his career, Urbanovich is now known as a player who takes part in the most popular high-stake poker tournaments on a global scale. Since generating his first-ever live cash, he has managed to generate total live earning of more than $5.2 million, with a best live cash of almost $1.6 million that he won for his runner-up position at the €100,000 NLHE Super High Roller event of the 2015 EPT-11-FPS-5-Grand Final in Monte Carlo.
Dzmitry Urbanovich, who is a member of the Moscow Wolverines Global Poker League, is expected to help partypoker boost its popularity across Europe.
