Powerfest Festival to Kick Off on partypoker September 3rd

The popular Powerfest is to return to partypoker at the beginning of September. One of the most-loved online poker festivals is to be held for more than three weeks, featuring a massive number of more than 300 events with overall guaranteed prizes of $35 million.

Tom Waters, Managing Director of partypoker, confirmed of the Powerfest return in September, saying that the Powerfest festival kept on getting bigger and more popular as time passed, which was the reason why the overall prize pool was boosted to $35,000,000. Mr. Waters expressed his hopes that poker fans would appreciate the changes implemented and would once again support the organisers of the event.

partypoker’s Managing Director also revealed that the new Championship events in the schedule were added in order to for the headline tournaments to become even more popular.

The 330 events included in the Powerfest schedule this September will offer a great variety of buy-ins in order to allow all kinds of players with different bankrolls to join one of the most reputable online poker festivals on a global scale. The events’ buy-ins are to range from $5.50 to $25.500 that will be featured in the Super High Roller’s second edition which would also offer a massive guaranteed prize pool estimated to $3,000,000.

The Powerfest online poker festival is set to begin on September 3rd, 2017.

The inaugural Super High Roller event which was featured in the May edition of the Powerfest had a great success among players who decided to join the online poker festival at the time, with a total of 129 paid entries who accumulated a prize pool estimated to $3,225,000. Now, the Super High Roller is scheduled to return to partypoker on September 19th, with a guaranteed prize pool of $3,000,000.

In addition, a total of twelve Championship events will be included in the Powerfest schedule, with ten of them offering a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million or more.

A list with the Championship events was revealed on partypoker’s website, with the first one of them scheduled for September 10th. First, the Powerfest 111 Championship phased event is to kick off, featuring a phase 1 buy-in of $109 or a direct buy-in of $1,050, as well as a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million. September 10th will see another Championship phased event to start. Powerfest’s 112 event offers a massive guaranteed prize estimated to $1.5 million, as well as a phase 1 buy-in of $530 or a direct buy-in of $5,200.

A two-day High Roller Championship event with a $1-million guaranteed prize is to kick off on September 12th, followed by Powerfest 218 Championship event. The next Championship event in the online poker festival’s schedule is to kick off on September 17th, offering a massive $1-million guaranteed prize.

As mentioned above, one of the most attractive events in the entire Powerfest schedule is the two-day Super High Roller Championship event, which is to start on September 19th. The five remaining Championship events are all to begin on September 24th.

The latest Powerfest online poker festival saw an enormous popularity of its multi-phased tournaments. This is exactly the reason why twelve of the tournaments in the September 2017 edition are set to include this feature. They are to offer a great variety of buy-ins in the range from $5,50 to $530 and will provide players with the chance to compete for a share of the $9,300,000 prize pools.
