One of the most-expected online gaming events this summer – the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference 2017 (AAC) – is to kick off on July 11th at Amsterdam RAI in Hall 8, which is currently the biggest exhibition space in the Netherlands. The AAC is it be held during the iGaming Super Show until July 14th, expecting about 4,500 delegates from all over the world.
After the huge success of last year’s Amsterdam Affiliate Conference, which gathered more than 4,000 attendees with more than 2,000 of them being iGaming affiliates, this year’s edition of the AAC is expected to be even bigger. More than 100 speakers and over 150 sponsors and exhibitors who will be present, are to take part in various discussions, exhibition and networking events over the four days of the Conference.
Global iGaming operators and affiliates will be given the chance to take advantage of the strategic conference programme, with the 2-day conference being considered the biggest one to be held in 2017. The sessions and discussions will be focused primarily on marketing, mergers and acquisitions, SEO, regulation, finance, sports betting and many other aspects of the global gaming industry. In addition, they will have the opportunity to meet many existing and new contacts and expand their partners, affiliates and customers’ network.
Last, but not least, the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference will be held as part of the iGaming Super Show, which basically means that its attendees will be able to access seven other events.
AAC 2017 Schedule
Four days of various exhibition and networking events, lectures and discussions will be featured by the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference 2017. Here are the highlights in each one of the four Conference days.
Day 1
The Amsterdam Affiliate Conference 2017 is to kick off with pre-registration, which starts 13:00 on July 11th. Then, welcome drinks will be served to the delegates are already registered, and then, the Global Lottery Messenger Forum evening dinner is to start at 19:30. The official opening networking party follows at 21:00.
Day 2
The second day of the event will start with opening of registration and exhibition, and then, the Conference Chairman Jake Pollard is to start in Conference Room 2 at 10:00.
An interesting discussion about the global trends in gaming SEO will take place in Conference Room 2 from 10:15 to 10:45. The discussion, called “The constantly changing world of search” will feature Martin Calvert from the gaming-focused digital agency Blueclaw as a speaker. Then, another SEO-oriented event, called “SEO Strategies” is to take place at 10:45, featuring Joost de Valk as a main speaker.
After the morning networking break, two other events are scheduled to take place in Conference Room 2 – “Welcome to a new world: Crawling, indexing and ranking in the age of a mobile first work!”, followed by the “Top 10 SEO Mistakes to Avoid” topic.
The SEO-oriented modules are to follow over the afternoon, with the SEO Strategies in the Real-Time Penguin Era” module starting at 14:00. Then, Matthew Balch from Sound Bet Media and Nick Duddy from Miratrix and Paul Soithongsuk are to take part in the “Why App Store Optimisation” in order to share the best practices that could be used by iGaming application developers. Another discussion focused on the future trends in the SEO is scheduled for 16:00.
The day will be closed with bingo networking drinks and then an official networking party starting at 21:00.
Day 3
After the registration at the beginning of Day 3 of the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference, the Conference Chair is to welcome the delegates in Conference Room 2.
The agenda starts with an interesting discussion called “The industry landscape: Affiliates in iGaming”, starting at 10:30. Then, a topic called “Organic Social Media Growth” follows at 11:00. After the morning networking break, the schedule of the Conference’s Day 3 is to continue with another discussion dedicated to marketing in gambling, featuring Miratrix’s Nick Duddy as a speaker.
At the afternoon, there will be a discussion related to mergers and acquisitions as one of the most commonly used strategies for gaming operators seeking to exit the iGaming market. At 14:45 another discussion is to follow, offering more details about the advantages of Bitcoin to online gaming affiliates. Then, after a short afternoon networking break, another discussion, called “New data protection regulation’s impact on gaming industry” is to start.
Day 3 will be ended with an official closing networking party starting 21:00.
Day 4
Day 4 will offer to all attendees of the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference an opportunity to join a special unwind session sponsored by Intertops.
