The organisers of the 2017 Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) have revealed that the third-largest gaming industry trade show is to be hosted at the new ICC Sydney in Darling Harbour. It is also one of the largest trade events on the territory of Australia and undoubtedly the most significant gaming event in the Southern Hemisphere, with floor space of 19,000 square metres.
The Expo is to take place from August 15th to 17th 2017 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
The Australasian Gaming Expo is owned and operated by the Gaming Technologies Association, which has provided a show-place for the latest additions to casino, clubs and hotels technologies. A great number of gaming technologies suppliers take part in the Expo, which biggest attraction is the newest games and machines presented by the poker machine suppliers.
Currently, companies such as IGT, Scientific Games, Ainsworth, Konami, Aruze, Interblock, Aristorcat, etc, are among the major members of the Gaming Technologies Association. They are also among the largest companies that take part in the Expo.
This year’s edition of the AGE will be hosted by the new International Convention Centre Sydney. It will provide its visitors with the latest gaming machines and technologies, gathering hundreds of visitors and participants in the summer.
In addition, the Expo offers both visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to meet new clients, but also to maintain their existing customers relations. According to a recent statistics released on the official website of the Australasian Gaming Expo, over 75% of the exhibitors attend the gaming show in order to meet some new customers, while 62% of them come to maintain their already existing markets and client base. When it comes to new products and services launch, over 40% of the exhibitors attend the Expo in order to present the newest additions to their product lines.
What is even better, is the fact that most exhibitors reported they had achieved their objectives, by visiting the Australasian Gaming Expo. Also, the majority of the exhibitors evaluated the overall visitor business potential as good to excellent, and more than two-thirds said that they could compare the AGE with other similar events.
With about 250 exhibitors that come to the Expo to present their latest product offering addition, the Australasian Gaming Expo is undoubtedly one of the largest gaming events not only in the region, but also on a global scale. Back in 2016, the first day of the Expo was attended by more than 2,500 visitors. The second day of last year’s edition of the exhibition gathered almost 3,000 visitors, while the third day accounted for 1,359. The event’s visitors came from across the country, as well as from New Zealand, Europe, America and the Asia-Pacific region.
