One of the most successful poker card room brands on a global scale, partypoker, announced that it has inked a new sponsorship deal, making another addition to its team of ambassadors.
The Brazilian superstar Bruno Gagliasso has become the latest addition and face of the brand for Brazil, joining his countryman Joao Simao. The latter is already playing both live in Latin America, as well as online, as a partypoker ambassador.
The other partypoker ambassador in the region – Joao Simao – said he was very happy with the fact that Gagliasso agreed to join him as an official representative of the brand. He said that according to him, Gagliasso would be the perfect addition to the official partypoker Team ambassadors to make poker in Brazil more attractive to current and potential players.
The Managing Director of the brand, Tom Waters, shared how honoured everyone at partypoker were to welcome Bruno Gagliasso to the team. According to Mr. Waters, Gagliasso and Simao would do excellent work to represent partypoker in the Brazilian market. He welcomed the newest addition to the team, saying they were to join forces to grow the presence of partypoker and support the poker community in Brazil.
Now a superstar in Brazil, Bruno Gagliasso has started his acting career at a young age. Currently, he stars in many films, TV series and theatre. The actor is also known as a keen poker player at his spare time.
Under the partypoker sponsorship deal, Gagliasso is to play as a representative of partypoker in the brand’s partypoker LIVE circuit. He is to also play online on a regular basis, and is to be also taking part in the weekly Sunday Title Fight that features a guaranteed prize pool estimated to $300,000.
Bruno Gagliasso himself shared he was very excited with the fact he was about to join the partypoker team alongside his countryman. He explained that he had enjoyed playing poker for many years, so the opportunity to become a partypoker ambassador and represent the brand had been really attractive.
Bruno Gagliasso was not the only recent addition to the partypoker Team. Late in April, the poker brand signed Poland’s Number 1 poker player Dzmitry Urbanovich. The young player’s total live earning currently exceed $5 million, and his best live cash is estimated to almost $1,600,000. Urbanovich has been one of the best-recognised contemporary poker players, so he was also a perfect choice for the ambassador’s Team of partypoker.
The global poker brand has been seeking to expand its reach among various poker players. The brand has been signing some of the superstars in TV, sport, and of course, poker as its ambassadors to represent partypoker worldwide. Some of the most popular additions to the partypoker team is the former tennis player Boris Becker, the WPT commentator Tony Dunst, the high-stakes cash game professional Sam Trickett, poker star Mike Sexton, etc.
