One of the leading international online poker brands, partypoker, has come back to Ireland with its Grand Prix Dublin event, which features a massive €150,000 guarantee prize. The event, which is expected to gather some of the most popular and successful British and Irish poker players, is to be hosted at Dublin’s Clayton Hotel.
This is the second stop of the Grand Prix Poker Tour for 2017, with Ireland set to become a gathering place of everyone who loves poker. After the Online Day 1s end on April 27th, it is time for the Live Day 1s and Day 2 to start. The event will run from April 28th to May 1st, 2017at the four-star Clayton Hotel. Players are given the chance to both buy in direct for €340 or win their seat over the online satellites which price starts at $2.20 only.
As a matter of fact, the online satellites for the partypoker event in Dublin have been running at the brand’s website for a few weeks now, whereas the Online Day 1s officially started on April 24th. There is one more Online Day 1 that is set to start at 9:00 PM at April 27th, offering a buy-in of $360 and 13 15-minute levels.
The players who manage to get to the Day 2, which is to take place live in Dublin, would be able to automatically enter into the final table of the event. Reaching the live final table of the Grand Prix Dublin event will also bring players a special €1,100 ticket which could be used by them to play in another partypoker Million event of their choice, with the only requirement for the event is to feature the same buy-in.
The organisers of the Grand Prix Dublin event also revealed the official live schedule for the event. Thursday evening will see the €60 satellite to Main Event start at 8:00 PM. Then, on April 28th, there will be a €60 turbo satellite to the Main Event starting at 1:00 PM. The €340 Main Event Day 1A will kick off at 4:00 PM, followed by Nighty Freezeout offering a buy-in of €100 at 9:00 PM.
The schedule for the next day, April 29th, is almost the same, with one difference only, as there will be a €60 hyper turbo satellite to Main Event starting at noon. Then, there goes the Main Event Day 1B, followed by another €100 Nighty Freezeout. Hyper turbo satellite featuring the same buy-in is planned for the next day, too. No satellite events are scheduled for the last day of the tournament, which is to also feature the Main Event Final Day.
The Main Event Day 1C of the Grand Prix Dublin scheduled for 2:00PM on Sunday. Then, at 7:00PM there will be a PLO Double Chance event with a buy-in of €200, followed by the regular €100 Nighty Freezeout.
The last day of the Grand Prix Dublin offers the Final Day of the Main Event, of course, followed by the a NLHE One Day Special for a buy-in of €150. The last event of the tournament will be closed with the €100 Nighty Freezeout, starting at 6:00PM.
