PokerStars, the poker brand of the Canadian gaming and online gambling company Amaya Inc., officially announced that its new MEGASTACK series had not only made a pretty successful debut in the UK, but will also be hosted in poker venues across Europe to be more accessible for players in Ireland, France and Belgium.
As revealed by PokerStars, the live tournament series MEGASTACK which was hosted at The Hippodrome Casino London this month, had great success after it managed to gather more than 520 entries. Now, it is planned to get to some of the most popular poker destinations around Europe, offering a guaranteed prize pool of more than €500,000 across all events combined.
The MEGASTACK events are aimed primarily at recreational players, offering them not only attractive cash prizes, but also pretty affordable buy-ins. As PokerStars themselves explained in the official announcement, the series is especially designed for players who are more-oriented towards the low buy-in levels and is aimed at providing them with the best live poker experience. According to the organisers of the MEGASTACK series, the new events are also quite suitable for players who would like to put a start on their poker career, especially for the ones who compete in the events from the PokerStars Festival and PokerStars Championship.
The member of team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody commented on the newly-released series, saying that MEGASTACK came as the perfect opportunity for all players to poker, no matter they would like to do it for fun or they would like to make a step towards a more serious poker career. According to Cody, the events from the series could guarantee a fantastic poker experience to everyone who chooses MEGASTACK to play poker.
PokerStars also revealed that the new schedule of the MEGASTACK series is to see affordable buy-in rates, increased guaranteed prizes, as well as some deep-stack tournaments. The poker brand also announced that each event from the series is to feature a massive starting stack for the players.
