The leading provider of global lottery and regulated gaming products and services Scientific Games revealed that it has inked a collaboration agreement with Golden Nugget Hotel and Casinos and its sister company Landry’s. Under the terms of the agreement, its CMP player-loyalty system is to be integrated within the Select Card Program of Landry’a, and as a result all club members of the Golden Nugget would be given the chance to use their casino loyalty rewards as a payment at the Landry-branded restaurants on the territory of the US.
The Group Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Games Derik Mooberry commented on the agreement, saying the company’s team was proud with the fact they had been chosen as partners of the Golden Nugget. He also revealed that the brand’s CMP player-loyalty system would be used at the casino floor, including the game content, game platforms, mobile platforms, the table products as well as its social casino platform called SG Universe Play4Fun Network.
Mr. Mooberry also described the opportunity to work with Golden Nugget’s sister company as an example of how different Scientific Games is from its competitive companies, especially in terms of understanding and identifying their customers’ needs.
As already mentioned above, under the terms of the agreement, the integration of the CMP player-loyalty system was successful, so the capabilities are now live at the Golden Nugget in Biloxi, Mississippi. The implementation is planned to be finalised in early 2017 at the properties of the Golden Nugget brand, located in Nevada (Las Vegas and Laughlin), New Jersey (Atlantic City) and Louisiana (Lake Charles).
After implementing the player-tracking solution, the 24 Karat Players Club members of the Golden Nugget brand would be given the chance to use their online winnings to make payments at all Landry-branded restaurants across the country.
The Senior Vice President of the Golden Nugget – Jim Hoskins – confirmed of the partnership deal, saying that projects such as this one proved that the decision of the brand to team up its efforts with Scientific Games and more specifically with its casino-management systems was a good thing. Mr. Hoskins described Scientific Games as a successful, flourishing and “feature-rich” company, which provides Landry’s with the chance to integrate its solutions with its Select Card program.
According to him, the relationship with Scientific Games would be very beneficial for the brand, as SG was one of the best software and hardware companies that were currently operating in the market.
