The Palm Beach Kennel Club in Florida is to host the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit for seventh consecutive year. The tournament is scheduled to kick off in the West Palm Beach on February 9th, and all visitors of the venue and local poker lovers will be able to enjoy the WSOP Circuit events until the 20th this month.
What is interesting, is the fact that the Kennel Club in Palm Beach, Florida, is the first venue which is not an actual casino that offers circuit events. What is more, it has been the only stop of the WSOP Circuit on the territory of Florida.
Normally, the facility provides its visitors with live greyhound racing options, as well as with simulcast betting on greyhound and thoroughbred races. In addition, a poker room featuring a total of 60 tables is available, as well as fine and casual dining area.
The 13th season of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) began in 2016, with the organisers of the event announcing the 2016/2017 schedule. According to the information provided by them, the Circuit will have 22 stops on the territory of the US, and will also travel to at least six international destinations. What is more, the WSOP is expected to announce eight additional stops on the Circuit any time soon.
The stop of the WSOP Circuit in Palm Beach Kennel Club is to be the 14th stop in the 2016/2017 edition of the tournament.
The WSOP Circuit, which is to start on February 9th, will feature 12 events that will take place in a period of 12 days. First, the $365 buy-in NL Hold’em Monster Stack tournament is to kick off, followed by the $365 buy-in NL Hold’em Re-Entry event that is to take place on February 10th and 11th. Of course, the Main Event of the tournament is expected to be the major focus of both visitors and participants. The $1,675 buy-in Main Event of the series is scheduled to take place on February 18th.
There will be a number of satellites, which are especially designed for players who play with smaller bankrolls. They will provide them with the change to participate in some events. For example, Mega Satellites would be available for Event #9 and #11, which feature buy-ins amounting to $150 and $250, respectively.
The next stop of the 2016/2017 edition of the WSOP Circuit the Bally’s Las Vegas, which is to host the Series from February 23rd to March 6th, 2017.
