Rank Group has reached an agreement with the leading gambling software developer Playtech to renew its games and bingo contract with the Isle of Man-based supplier through its bingo brand Mecca Bingo. The deal is to further extend its long-term relationship with Playtech, which is a leader in the Omni-channel gaming market not only in the UK, but also on a global scale.
The Vice President of the UK Operations of Playtech Daniel Phillips commented on the deal’s extension, saying that the bingo network was having a satisfactory performance, considering that both active players and stakes had reached their highest levels ever. Mr. Phillips also highlighted the fact that Playtech’s partners had a great start of 2017.
In addition, UK Operations’ Vice President talked about the latest deal of the company with Rank Group’s subsidiary, calling Mecca Bingo one of the brands Playtech was very happy to have a long-lasting partnership with. According to Mr. Phillips, the collaborative approach of Rank Group and the company’s partnership with Playtech would be beneficial for the UK gambling operator’s bingo brand over the upcoming decade and even longer.
The partnership between the Mecca Bingo brand of Rank Group and Playtech more than ten years long. The bingo brand of the British gambling company is considered as the largest one in the UK.
Thanks to the agreement with Mecca Bingo, Playtech Bingo is to keep its positions, remaining as the provider with the exclusive rights to supply bingo and games to the Rank Groups’ bingo network. Under the extended partnership contract, dedicated content development will also be provided, which is expected to help Mecca Bingo stand out in the market and would give it advantage compared to some competitive brands.
As part of the agreement, Mecca Bingo will get access to the Open Platform of Playtech, which will result in the brand’s customers reaching a large variety of high-quality content of both Playtech and third parties.
The Group Director of Rank Group Colin Cole-Johnson confirmed of the partnership agreement and explained that the suite of bingo products supplied by the Isle of Man-based gaming software developer had always been among the ones that their customers knew best and loved most. He also said that the partnership with Playtech had been important for Mecca Bingo since 2006, so the brand and its owning company were pleased to have the agreement had been extended.
