The owner of the Victoria Gate Casino – Global Gaming Ventures – has finally revealed the opening date of the casino, along with some details of its bar and restaurant offerings.
As Casino Guardian reported a few months ago, the owners of the Victoria Gate retail revealed in October 2016 that the development stage of the casino had already been in progress at that time. Then, the company announced that the new super casino was planned to be officially opened in Leeds in 2017, and now it became clear that the gaming venue is to be unveiled to the public on January 26th.
The Victoria Gate Casino that is to be hosted in Leeds, is planned as the third-largest brick and mortar casino on the territory of the UK. The overall capacity of the venue would be 1,400 people, putting it in top three casinos by size in the country. As already revealed by Casino Guardian, the gambling venue is to be placed on a total of 50,000 square feet, which would make it the first “super casino” located in the northern part of the country.
Apart from the unmatched capacity of the casino, the venue will also offer a 100-player poker room, plus 140 slots machines, 75 electronic gaming terminals and 24 live gaming tables.
The Director of the new Victoria Gate Casino Patrick Noakes commented on the upcoming opening of the casino, saying that the city of Leeds had never had such an entertainment destination to date. He also revealed that the entire team of the casino was impatient to start working, and added the new venue would change not only the gaming history of the region, but the city in general.
According to Mr. Noakes, the entertainment diversion of Leeds would be changed with the addition of the Victoria Gate Casino, as the latter had a lot to offer and add to the dining and nightlife in the region. He explained that the three most distinct venues of Victoria Gate – the Curve, the Live Bar and V Restaurant – would be the most crucial additions to Leeds’ nightlife and entertainment.
The owners of the third-largest casino venue in the UK also revealed some details and specific features of the above-mentioned parts of the grand entertainment venue in Leeds. The Live Bar would be equipped with wall-to-wall screens displaying various sport action. The Curve, on the other hand, would offer the visitors a high-quality bar overlooking the casino floor, while the high-class V Restaurant is aimed to be the best in its league.
