Inspired Gaming Group, the UK’s leading provider of mobile games, virtual sports and SBG video lottery products, provided a business update of its achievements over the second half of the year. The company also revealed which were the recent catalysts of its business over 2016 H2.
The founder the Chief Executive Officer of Inspired Luke Alvarez commented on the operator’s performance over the second half of the year, saying that Inspired Gaming Group had shown steady progress in all digital product lines that were offered by the company.
Mr. Alvarez shared that the VLT business of the UK-based company got the approval of the Greek competent authorities, so it would be officially launched there in early 2017. He also added that Inspired intended to remain focused on its core SBG market in the UK and to invest some efforts in expanding its SBG operations in Italy. Inspired’s boss reminded that the company’s virtual sports business had been successfully rolled out into Nevada, and it had also sealed some deals for upcoming launches in other US markets, as well as in Greece and Macau.
Mr. Alvarez added that the mobile business of the brand had reported strong growth over the period, attracting new customers and releasing new games.
In its official press release, Inspired Gaming Group highlighted its newly-announced developments. First, it emphasized on the successful release of its virtual sports product in Nevada, after passing the technical field trial of the local Gaming Control Board. The company explained that its entire suite of games is expected to go live in Nevada bookmakers in 2017.
In addition, the operator announced it has inked a material Open Platform deal with one of the leading gambling operators in Italy – Global Starnet.
According to the company, its successful performance over the second half of the current fiscal year has been based on several developments. One of the main drivers of the UK-based gaming supplier’s growth was the fact that Greece’s Hellenic Gaming Commission has granted its VLT products with a license to be rolled out in more than 3,900 terminals in early 2017.
In addition, Inspired has reached an exclusive agreement with one of the leading gaming and casino providers in the entire Asia Pacific region – LT Game Macau. Under the deal, the British company will be alloed to release its virtual sports content to the ETG self-service terminals of the LT Game Macau brand.
The partnership with Shaquille O’Neal has also been described as one of the milestones over the second half of fiscal 2016. In addition, the company has released an entire suite of Mike Tyson-branded boxing products in collaboration with Betfred. Of course, the growth marked by the company in its mobile division was backed by the release of Inspired’s new HTML5 slots games and on-demand virtual sports games.
