The 2016 Master Classics of Poker (MCOP) is to return to the Hollands Casino Amsterdam on November 12th to mark an event that is worth to remember. The 25th edition of the MCOP will be celebrated with a 15-day event that is to take place in the period from November 12th to November 26th.
In comparison to the MCOP which took place in 2015, when there were only 12 events, the special Silver Edition will feature a total of 25 events. Of course, special attention should be paid to the Main Event of the Master Classics of Poker. On November 18th and November 22nd, respectively, there will be two opening days for all players who would like to enter the Main Event. Then, the players who survive over the two opening days, are to participate in three more play days on November 23rd, 24th and 25th until the last standing one of them emerges as the event’s winner.
This year’s edition of the Master Classics of Poker is to feature a great variety of events, apart from the large number of live satellite events players could enter. Players who prefer playing with lower stakes will also be given the chance to enter some events from the schedule announced for this year’s edition. On the other hand, high rollers will also be able to choose from a number of events featuring higher stakes.
The 2016 MCOP is to start on November 12th with two satellite events featuring a buy-in of €770 and €275, respectively. On November 13th, they are followed by another satellite event as well as by a Warm Up Single Re-entry, both featuring a buy-in of €275. More satellites are scheduled for the next days, each of them offering a different buy-in option to the potential entrants. On November 15th, there will also be a Silver Edition Freeze-out which features a buy-in of €1,330.
November 16th will feature the €550 buy-in Team Event 100 teams of 2 players Freeze-out starting at 14:00. At the same time, players will be able to enter the MCOP 5-Card OPL 8 Max tournament at the cost of €275 only. Apart from the satellite main event that is scheduled for November 17th, the players will get the unique opportunity to participate in the Super High Roller Re-entry with a buy-in of €25,250. There is another high-roller event especially for players who prefer this type of events – the High Roller 8 MAX Re-entry, which is to take place on November 20th and offers a buy-in estimated to €10,250.
The Main Event’s Single Re-entry Days 1A and 1B, on the other hand, will take place on November 18th and November 22nd, respectively. At the end of the 2016 edition of the Master Classics of Poker, there will be two No-Limit Hold’em events – the NLH €100 Freeze-out event on November 23rd and the NLH €750 Single Re-entry event on November 25th. Players will also be provided with the chance to take part in the €660 buy-in PLO Single Re-entry on November 24th and the €500 BOUNTTY Freeze-out event on November 26th.
