Earlier this month, the sportsbook data and services content supplier Betgenius, headquartered in London, has revealed that it had inked a partnership agreement with the European gambling operator Betclic Everest Group. The three-year deal will make Betgenius the leading provider of in-play trading for the company’s brands which are based in the UK – Beclic and Expekt.
The collaboration agreement comes at a time when the company has been aimed at consolidating its positions in the regulated markets. A few months ago the brand, which is currently one of the largest and most reputable sports betting services suppliers on the territory of the UK. The brand is known for offering the fastest and most accurate in-play and pre-match data on over 300,000 sports events per year. In addition, the company’s services cover more than 25 sports to date.
In August 2016, the company released a fully-automated Racing Manager product that provided the UK operator with access to over 40,000 events on an annual basis. Earlier this year, the company had been engaged with a brand reconstruction, which resulted in a new website release, and a new logo which was incorporated as part of the brand overhaul.
The Managing Director of Betgenius Jack Davidson commented on the newly-signed agreement with the Betclic and Expekt brands, saying that the UK-based operator was focused on improving and increasing its current portfolio in order to meet its customers’ demands. In his opinion, the partnership deal with Betclic Everest Group would help the company consolidate its positions as the leading sports betting industry’s provider of in-play services.
Under the terms of the deal, Betgenius will both Betclic and Expekt brands’ customers with over 130,000 in-play events annually. Betclic Everest Group has more than a decade of professional experience, offering a great variety of qualitative online betting services to millions of customers residing in France, Italy, Portugal and Belgium. On the other hand, Betgenius currently operates not only in the UK, but also in Denmark, Lithuania, Estonia and Bulgaria. The partnership deal is expected to help both companies consolidate their presence on the global regulated markets and reach more customers overseas.
The deal was also confirmed by the Product and Innovation Director of Betclic Everest Group Pascal Brouet. He shared that the operator was primarily focused on boosting its offerings, along with the automation of sports in-play options. In addition, Mr. Brouet explained that the partnership agreement with Betgenius would increase the number of events its customers could bet on to 130,000 per year, with the number of football events being doubled and considerably boosting the number of live basketball coverage.
